General information only

The content of this site is patient education. It describes what a brow lift is, who tends to do well with one, and what it costs in recovery and risk. It is not a diagnosis, it is not a treatment recommendation for any individual, and it does not create a doctor-patient relationship.

No substitute for examination

Whether a brow lift is appropriate for you depends on findings that can only be established by examining you: your brow position in movement, the amount of eyelid skin, your hairline and hair pattern, your medical history and your expectations. Reading this site cannot substitute for that, and a decision made from a website alone is a decision made without information.

Results vary and are not guaranteed

Individual results differ. Scars are permanent. Healing takes months and the final position of the brow is judged at 6 to 12 months. No surgeon, and no website, can guarantee an outcome, and any statement that appears to promise one should be treated with suspicion wherever you encounter it.

If something is wrong after surgery

If you have had surgery and develop rapidly increasing swelling, a tense painful area, spreading redness, fever, bleeding that does not stop, or sudden visual change, contact the treating team or seek emergency care immediately rather than waiting to be seen at a routine appointment.
